The Art Story

It's the little things in life, don't you think? The perfect shiny wrapping paper, the smell of fresh cut grass, or that last bite of your favorite donut. Each tiny moment brightens your day in it's own way - sharing just a touch of familarity, comfort, or excitement. It's these little moments I wanted to document in this work.

All of my recent art has focused around expressing emotion, but in this series in particular I isolated individual emotions and put color, shape and texture to them. Challenging myself to paint 100 emotions #painting100emotions, I've selected my favorites for the North Studio shop.
