 Malachite usually appears in botryoidal, fibrous, or stalagmitic formations within fractures and subterranean cavities, where chemical precipitation occurs due to the presence of a water table and hydrothermal fluids. Its fibrous appearance consists of strands that are often grouped in clusters, with multiple clusters facing varying directions. This specimen boasts a distinctive shimmer and a range of green hues. Measuring approximately 5" x 5" and weighing 2.55 lbs.
